"Dive In" is a new series of hand picked material from the band and made available only through dhumusic.com. In order to qualify for "Dive In" status, the recording must contain something just a bit more special than the rest. Whether it be just a kick ass set or an anomoly within the night caught on tape, each offering is brought to you with the DHU 'stamp of approval'.
DIVE IN Vol 1 features a set of high energy playing throughout from a venue that no longer exists. TNT Hair of the Dog was a venue the band LOVED to play in. It's music centered audience provided the band with the right intangible essence time and time again.
At the time of this show, the band was in a transitional phase out of Todd Eberwine Band. The merger of Beautiful Bones and TEB was becoming more and more apparent. This is Barry's 1st "official" gig with the band, and he joined the band for all but one song just two nights later as DHU made their first support act appearance opening up for the legendary Leon Russell.
To begin "Dive In" any other way seemed completely inappropriate. We hope you enjoy the Genesis. Thanks for listening.
